Life Care Center of Casper, Wyoming, recently earned a five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
The CMS ratings system is designed to assist the public in choosing care for their loved ones. It calculates the ratings based on results of health inspections, staffing and quality measures (including pain management, pressure ulcers, weight loss and falls).
“We are so pleased to be officially recognized by the federal government as one of the finest facilities in the nation,” said Alyssa Renneisen, executive director. “There are only 11 five-star facilities in the state of Wyoming, and we are the only five-star facility in Natrona County. We are beyond proud to be where we are today.”
The rating officially posted on the CMS website on June 28, 2017.
“Our team at Life Care Center of Casper works hard every day to make the facility a great place for residents to live,” said Jean Tucker, director of nursing.
